On the whole, well located, small and warm, therefore a good choice for discovering the old city.
The hotel itself is clean and quite well kept.
I liked the quiet of the hotel and I felt like I was at home.
Finally, we had a perfect stay in this lovely little hotel.
All in all a good place to stay if you want to be in the city.
Straight to the points

1) The location could not have been better. If you stay in this area you will experience the real Naples and its narrow alleys. Fascinating stuff!
2) My room was large, very well maintained, and it had a small but lovely balcony. I’m not sure all rooms have one so it’s a good idea to ask.
3) Breakfast was included and it’s excellent.
4) Walking distance from the train station, it took us less than half hour to get there by foot (walking slowly).
5) Just go straight on Via dei Tribunali for 10-15 minutes and you will find Via del Giudice by the old tower.

Good Budget Hotel
It are truly a retreat from the heart and hustle from the outside world… .
All in all, we could not fault this retreat, better than it looks
No complaints: spartan but extremely clean, not like you are in a 5 star hotel, but you have all you need. The rooms has everything that you could possibly need: air conditioning, free wi fi access, fridge, tv sat, kettle, iron, safe, etc. etc..
Location, location, location!!!
You couldn’t do much better with respect to location. All in all, a nice place.
Our room was impeccably clean, the walls thick enough, so as to not hear your friendly neighbours, and the windows are double glazed, which if you have been in Naples, you know this is a must to have!
We had a room that was huge, with a mixture of modern with old world.

The owner/manager couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful.

I don’t think you can really find anything better in this price-category. We felt very safe in this little Inn after hearing such negative things about Naples in general.
Yes alot of the buildings were in need of attention and yes there was washing hanging out of the windows but this just added to my experience.
You couldn’t do much better with respect to location. All in all, a nice place.

The hotel Neapolis it is a super-centric 3 stars in Naples. Best location. You can walk everywhere and Tribunali (don’t miss the Veiled Christ at San Severo -astonishing work- rivaling Bernini) is probably best lively street in Naples…but also the hotel is not far from the seafront. Wifi it is ok. Small but nice balconies. Clean. Very full and delicious breakfast. Best pizza in restaurant just downstairs. Good value for money. Totally recommend.

And do not be put of by the people who write negative things about Naples it is just the same as any other city, we had no problems, walked to the train station and back every day allso down all the little lovely alleys and loved it all, such a nice place to go. You must go it is a good experience.

This is a great location for exploring Naples
The hotel has excellent localization close to the main railway station but already in the old part of the city
This hotel is ideally located in the old city and is walking distance to the most important sights, including the Archeology Museum (the best museum which also features most of pompeii relics is also around the area which was awesome!) and bus transport and Metro.
Once there, however, the location is fine for seeing the sights of the city and also getting back to the station to travel to Pompeii and the rest of the Amalfi Coast.
An excellent way to start the day.

If you are new to Naples and don’t want to go far to reach the main attractions, this hotel is definitely your better thing. Don’t waste your time, because here you can find a nice location (near from a subway station – Dante). It are truly a retreat from the heart and hustle from the outside world… .

IS IT A GOOD CHOICE?
So, in conclusion, are these the perfect hotel in Naples? No, but I would definitely go back and recommend it, for the cleanness, for the amenities, for the atmosphere, the friendliness of the people we interacted with and for that “je ne sais quoi” that made us enjoy the nights we spent here.
For me, I enjoyed my three nights at the NCH and was happy with how they fit into my budget trip.
Amidst the heat and noise of Naples, this truly is a gem.

Strengths
“The hotel is set on the third floor (elevator) of an old-standing town house with an adjoining original medieval churchtower or “campanile”.

Free hi speed internet and pc in the lobby area
A ‘can-do’ approach from the reception together with a superb location make this an excellent accommodation choice.
The rooms were clean and spacious, and we loved the comfortable lounge — we spent late evenings there just relaxing and catching up on e-mail.
It is also in a great location and one we considered to be very safe, as it is gated and secure.
Clean, tidy, cute, wonderful location just what I would expect in old town Naples.
Daytime staff spoke English and were very helpful. They arranged our taxi to the airport for us.
Pleasant balconies for watching the city.
Lovely decor, big comfortable room, helpful manager who will supply map and any information required.
Wish we could have stayed longer.
Weakness

Good location for historic Naples but difficult to find because the hotel is inside the ancient buiding, very normal and usual into the downtown of the Italian cities.
The hotel reception is on the 3rd floor of a building – but there is a very small elevator. A small lift necessitating two trips with luggage
If you are arriving in a large vehicle it may not get near the entrance due to the narrow street.
Our taxi driver dropped us of a short distance away but did give us directions.
Our taxi driver from the airport had never heard of this hotel or its location, and it is tucked away on the third floor of a typical faded grandeur building, but in fact the location could not be better for old Naples, right on via Tribunali.
The hotel which is in the historical part of Naples would not be very easy to find if you were making your own way there.
The entrance is up a side street and through gates that open into a small shared courtyard.
The hotel is located in the bustling, narrow streets of the historic centre, the building itself, entered through a domestic courtyard, is quirky but atmospheric. It is a delightful place to stay.
The location isn’t bad, near a metro stop and the main road where there are lots of restaurants, but it can be difficult to find because it has almost no signage.
My only complaint would be the cars and Vespas on Via Tribunali that would honk constantly and nearly run you over as you walked down the street.
The traffic in Naples is truly a wonder to behold.

Neapolis hotel is great place to start your Naples tour and very awesome to have a good stay and a very well accomodation
When you walk out of the hotel, you are right at one of the main historical streets: Via Tribunali. This small authentic street is full of local little specialised shops, from mini markets to a bakery and from a take a way pizza or sweet pastry till local trattoria’s and restaurants.
The Neapolis is a comfortable, European-style hotel in the heart of Naples in a teaming neighborhood full of narrow streets, shops and eateries.
Rooms
“Clean and comfortable with ensuite facilities, wi fi fast access, and good breakfast: recommended”
Room was really beautiful, lovely view, spotlessly clean and well-maintained.
It should be noted that it’s on a main road and therefore with the windows open it was quite noisy, but we didn’t find this a problem at all since we were out the majority of the time and when the windows were shut there was no noise at all.
Rooms – really nice – large, comfortable. Mine had large double doors facing westwards over the square and church…great evening sun.
Bedroom
“The sound proofing in the room was great, our room faced a busy road and when the door and shutters were closed I did not hear any traffic noise”. Our room was large and decorated in a simple, modern style, with good wardrobe space and plenty of hooks for coats etc,
The bed was firm and comfortable and with the shutters closed at night slept soundly. The bed was a proper king with lovely, crisp linen.
The bed was very hard but it did not affect my sleep and I wasn’t in pain after sleeping in it for a week.
Bath
“I thought the bathroom was a very decent size, especially for Europe. Shower was a bit on the small side but again nothing new for Europe”
The bathroom was good reasonable size as well and had a good shower. Very good was the modern and strong hair dryer. The bathroom was also large and well stocked with toiletries, hair dryer and large fluffy white towels. Showers are hot and there is a heated towel rack. Towels were changed every day. The size of the room was very good but the bathroom (and the shower) was small but adequate.
Breakfast
“Breakfast was served in a little dining room, was copious and varied, and included the best coffee I have ever tasted”
Breakfast was rich according to Italian standards and a bit above average for a three star hotel. Breakfast is good by Italian standards.
Even the breakfast, which, in Italian hotels is usually well under average, is good here!
The breakfast was tasty and fulfilling.
Most importantly I thought the breakfast was fantastic especially considering this is just a small inexpensive basic hotel, loved those scrambled eggs with bacon, or it might have been pancetta – either way it was really good!
Lovely, convenient and plentiful breakfast.
The breakfast room was nice and the selection better than average.
Ham, cheese, danishes, fruit, and several juices, including the delicious blood orange.
Breakfast was most much more sufficient, excellent coffee that they served with the breakfast buffet was excellent.
Very nice breakfast included freshly baked cake!
They provide a breakfast with coffee, croissants, yogurt and with a wide range of continental breakfast products.. There is always good coffee, freshly made.
Please, take note:
1) if your reservation is without the breakfast, You can pay 5 € and to do it (the price is very convenient)
2) for early morning check out (before the breakfasts time) , You can ask to take some coffè, orange and others. The people are very friendly and never, in Naples, you can leave without to take a coffee!
Breakfast is an incredible deal at only €5 and was a great way to start the day.

Good quality reasonable price. The breakfast supplements at € 5 per person, per day, it is very incredible! Very good value. This place is also good value for money.
